aHEAD
- Project period: March 2010 -
As a R&D programmer since October 2009, I have developed the facial expression system, aHEAD, to compute the weights of the facial blend shape efficiently and generate stable animation for different facial models from a facial motion capture data stream. The system has been applied to production pipeline of next generation animated news in Next Media Animation.
Our facial animation work had already applied to the Japanese movie, "TRAVELERS". (2013/04/13)

aHEAD was built by myself in 2010 March and keep maintaining. We input the facial mocap data, the system will automatic calculate the best weight of facial expression. And also, the system could track the eyes of actor so that it improves the efficiency of mocap team very much.

LightStage X
LightStage X:
LightStage X is used to scan actor's face for building the high-quality facial model. It is the important step in order to generate the realistic animation. We have applied it to the production pipeline of animation news, music video and concert effect. Moreover, LightStage of USC had been used in many Hollywood movies, such as "Avatar" and "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". It's the best top technology for building the realistic model in the visual effect & game industries.
- built in 2010 in NMA
- came from USC ICT (the director of Graphics lab: Prof. Paul Debevec)
